by Aditya GhoshAn interactive computer animation for a class of computer science students has been developed by a Hyderabad-based startup.
The student, who has not been named, asked for help to make the animation on the app Adityan Bhatkal.
The app, called Free Computer Animation, allows users to create and export animated animations on their smartphones.
Users upload the animated clips to the app to be uploaded to a video website.
The website allows users from around the world to submit their animations to be published on YouTube and Facebook.
“I am a student in computer science and have never done any animation before.
I wanted to create a video for my class.
It took me two hours to make,” said the student.
The animated clip has a total length of 1,300 words.
The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free.
“I am not too big of a fan of using Google Docs, but the idea of a video on YouTube was irresistible,” said Ajay Nair, a student from Hyderabad.
“Free Computer Animation is an interactive computer education app which can be used for the same purpose as any other app,” said Ghosh, who also worked on a video app for an organisation.
The video can be viewed on YouTube, Facebook and YouTube’s mobile apps.
The Free Computer Animator app has also been downloaded by over 300,000 people, including students from different universities across the world.
